Drug Name : Monoethylglycinexylidide
Indications : Active metabolite of lidocaine and is monitored along with lidocaine as an antiarrhythmic drug.
Physiology : it is a major metabolite of lidocaine and is used to assess donor and recipient liver function in transplantation of this organ.
Normal Values : >50 µg/L (>170 nmol/L)
