Why it is prescribed (Indications) :
This combination medication contains a proton pump inhibitor and prokinetic agent, prescribed for gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications) : Hypersensitivity.
When it is to be taken :
Adult: PO- 1 capsule (rabeprazole 20 mg and itopride 150 mg) once daily.
How it should be taken :
It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, as directed by your physician.
Special Instruction :
* Caution should be exercised inpatients with history of liver impairment and during pregnancy.
Side Effects :
Headache, diarrhea, dizziness, rash.
Other Precautions :
* Avoid excess dosage.
